12 years ago, Sam Sarofeem, an Egyptian migrant, and a Downey resident for over 25 years, decided to open the 1st Mediterranean restaurant in Downey Ca. The goal was to provide Downey residents with fresh healthier options, that packs the flavor and satisfies all dietary preferences, all at a very reasonable budget.  Through lots of hard work, dedication, attention to details and most importantly, consistently delicious food and impeccable quality, Green Olive distinguish itself from any competition and became the go to place for most in search for that perfect meal.
